Paid organic article or earned media: what do I actually get?

Paid organic gives the buyer a planned publication path where an outlet allows the format. A buyer can brief the desk in their own language; the article is written and placed in English-language Western media, and own-country outlets are added only when the buyer asks for them.

01What do I get with a paid organic article?

You get a bylined, editorial-style article on an outlet's own news pages where that format is available. The proposal identifies the outlet, format and known labelling before payment. The delivery report identifies the published link.

02Is a paid organic article earned media?

No. Money changes hands for paid organic. Earned media involves no payment to the outlet and depends on an editor choosing to cover the story. We identify the difference before booking.

03Is publication guaranteed?

Publication is planned once an outlet confirms the paid organic booking. Availability can change with the outlet, news or brief. If outlet policy changes after booking, we agree a replacement or refund with the buyer.

04Who decides whether the article carries a label?

The outlet applies its own rules. Some paid organic articles carry a label and some run in the outlet's native editorial format. We explain the known treatment before payment.
